As a half-brother to top international jumpers Killer Queen VDM, Japatero VDM, and Kontador VDM, premium stallion Aston VDL has an exciting future ahead of him. This NRPS-approved stallion made a very positive impression in the Stallion Competition, and his first offspring also appear poised to make a significant impact. The dam, Zosja jumped at 1.40m level herself with Michael Greeve, and she is a half-sister to the international 1.60 m show jumper Exclusive (by Emilion), with whom Michael Greeve enjoyed considerable success. Granddam Ivory competed at the 1.35 m level and she is a half-sister to the Grand Prix horse Lou-Lou (by Topas), ridden by Guillermo Obligado. This direct maternal family has also produced the 1.50/1.60 m international jumpers No-Comment de Septon, Kataleis Isolde, and the World Equestrian Games show jumper Chellachic Z.
