Upside Down JCB is the first offspring of the elite mare Permantige Dame JCB, who passed the mare test with five 8s and a total score of 78.5 points. Through the proven sires Harley VDL and Zirocco Blue VDL, this line goes back to a half-sister of the international 1.45/1.50m sports stallions Bordeaux VDL and Taloubet VDL (by Baloubet du Rouet) and the 1.40m jumping KWPN-approved stallion Kingsland VDL (by Arezzo VDL). This direct line is also known thanks to Grand Prix winner Icoon VDL/Rock of Cashel (by Bubalu VDL), who became known under Hessel Hoekstra. The stallion Mindset ES VDL is responsible for paternity, with which Alex Gill made a convincing 1.45m debut this year. His first breeding results are promising.
