With a long and successful sport career, including competing at the Olympic Games and winning Grand Prix and Nations Cup competitions, Cartello VDL has every opportunity to become as influential a sire as his famous half-brother Cardento. His oldest offspring are already making their mark at international 1.45/1.50m level.
The dam line of Wish Me Luck VP has also proven its ability to produce top jumpers. Dam Daigona M is a half-sister to the international 1.60m horse Flinton M (by Clinton), ridden by Kendall Bourgeois.
Granddam Zaigon M is, in turn, a half-sister to the 1.55m performer Fanta M, ridden by Rebecca McGoldrick. This direct maternal line has also produced the internationally successful 1.50/1.55m horses Loretta H and PMH Spencer.
