Wisdom (Arezzo VDL x Modesto)
Like top international jumpers VDL Edgar M, Julius.D, and Harwich VDL, Wisdom is sired by the Grand Prix sport and breeding stallion Arezzo VDL. The dam, Mooiesinaa, carries the distinguished Sinaa mare family on both her sire's and dam's side. She is the full sister to the international 1.60 m show jumper Bugatti, ridden by Juan Andres Rodriguez, and a half-sister to Celebrity, also known as Pretty Little Liar, who likewise competed successfully at the highest international level. The granddam, Versinaa, also appears in the second generation of the pedigrees of several 1.45 m jumpers, including former Blom Cup winner VDL Lightfeet, who is now successfully campaigned by Carlie Fairty. This direct maternal branch has also produced numerous international 1.50/1.55 m performers, including Zorro, Dakar, Brilliant Berlin, Jack, Crown Royal, and High Shutterfly.
