Earlier this year, sire McAllister VDL made his 1.60m debut at the age of nine under Mohammed Ghanem Al Hajri, after previously achieving ten international victories under Jur Vrieling. Westwood JCB is bred out of the elite mare Parmantige Dame JCB, who passed her mare test with five scores of 8 (78.5 points in total). Through the proven sires Harley VDL and Zirocco Blue VDL, this line traces back to a half-sister to the international 1.45/1.50m sport stallions Bordeaux VDL and Taloubet VDL and the 1.40m-jumping KWPN-approved stallion Kingsland VDL. This direct line is also well known thanks to Grand Prix winner Icoon VDL/Rock of Cashel, who became known under Hessel Hoekstra, as well as 1.50m winner Mendoza.
