Under Hessel Hoekstra, sire Comthago VDL demonstrates his great qualities at the highest level and, among other successes, won the 3* Grand Prix of Ommen. His oldest offspring, including Noble Ami, Next Day VDL and Nena-Alve DV, are breaking through at 1.45m level at the age of eight. Dam Oxalis W combines the excellent sires For Pleasure and Stakkato and is a full sister to the eight-year-old 1.45m showjumper Nikita W, ridden by Tina Yates. Granddam Vanish also produced the internationally 1.40/1.45m-classified Delano W (s.Flipper d’Elle) and is herself a half-sister to the international 1.45m horse Estefania 17. This damline also produced Tim Hoster’s international 1.50m horse Que Sera.
