Dam Kante Dame VDL excelled with 90 points for jumping at the inspection and was named Frisian CK Champion [regional mare show]. This NMK mare [National Mare Championships] is a full sister to NMK champion O’Dame VDL, and the line then continues with the highly rated Grande Dame VDL, a half-sister to the 1.45/1.50m sport stallions Bordeaux VDL and Taloubet VDL, as well as the 1.40m-jumping, KWPN-approved stallion Kingsland VDL/Kentucky VDL. This direct line also produced the Grand Prix winner Icoon VDL/Rock of Cashel, well known under Hessel Hoekstra. Sire Boston VDL, a stallion competition winner, already presented a very promising first crop of foals last year and also appears to have a great future ahead of him in sport.
